FAQs
How long are your sessions?
I do not time my sessions, when you book with me, the day is essentially yours. The time before the appointment allows me to set-up and prepare for your arrival. When you arrive, we will go over the session again, you may change (if this is part of your session) and then we begin shooting. Shoot time varies, as I shoot for your needs. Once shooting is done we will go over your photos together- you are more than welcome to hang out and chat afterwards, as I book only one person a day, there is no rushing you out the door!
What do I need to bring?
Nothing! I am a full service studio, I provide everything from clothing to props.
What does the session fee include?
The Session Fee includes complimentary hair and make-up, wardrobe and styling appointment, exclusive use of my client closet and high end retouching of all images. Prints/Products are sold separately, however, I sell the highest quality products and they are definitely worth the investment! Every Print sold comes with a printable digital copy as well as a social media sized copy so you may share with friends & family.
Why do you sell Prints over Digitals?
Ahh yes, the most commonly asked question I get. There are so many reasons as to why I sell prints over digitals, but the main reason is because so many of you are like me (or rather, like I was). Yes, I was once the mom who wanted all my photos on a disc so I could share them, print them, have them to use as screensavers. But you know what NEVER happened? They never got printed, they were the best dust collectors in my house. But, that changed, after a little thing called my son’s first birthday. For my son’s first birthday I took him to a nice studio (he looked so dapper in his little man suit!) and got some of the CUTEST images. At the end of that session I purchased a large framed portrait and a disc with my choice of images. Do you know what I don’t have now? That disc of images. Do you know what I do have, hanging in my living room right now? My son’s portrait. It is my favorite, I LOVE looking at it- The portrait will most likely hang on my wall until my son has children. You see, life is forever moving, changing, evolving- just like technology; technology is every changing. So while the world changes the one thing that is constant is prints- prints will last you a lifetime, they will be something for your children (your grandchildren and great grandchildren) to cherish. With digitals, they can be lost, computers can crash, hard drives can corrupt. I just want you to have a forever moment, not a temporary moment.
